TROXEL RANCH
less than #1500 each. They have been used to check pastures and fix fence and have been on several trail rides. I took them in the county parade two years ago and got along real well in town. They crossed the RR tracks and didn't worry about the traffic. They handle great. They don't pull on your arms and move well. They back fine and swing the tongue perfectly. I would prefer that they go to an experienced teamster. They are a pleasure to drive, they cross the tongue to hitch and stand OK They have never indicated to me that they would run, but they just aren't seasoned up enough to be called dead broke. I have a bale unroller on a wagon gear that I used to feed with. Sixty days of feeding and money couldn't buy them, they just aren't getting used enough now. ..........$3500.........
Sandy is a 7yr old gelding out of Brinx Bar Sprat. He was raised on the Sherman Ranch south of Valentine. Sam broke this horse and Sidney took over when she wanted a barrel horse. She has been working with him for the last three years and he is seasoning up real well. She runs barrels, poles, and ties goats on him. She has brought him along on the barrels and poles pretty slow and he is ready to be pushed now. He really rates well and knows his patterns. He is extra calm in the arena. Anyone who can ride can get along with him. Never bucked, and no bad habits. In the pasture he has a real good walk and covers ground well. I haven't measured him but he is a short 15 hands and won't weigh over #1100. He has been used in junior rodeos, High school rodeos, and run in 4D shows. Currently he is in the standings for the state finals in goat tying and pole bending......$12500.......
